The Strength of the Market is: Strong

After two straight weeks of stock market gains, investors seem to have gotten some of their confidence back. With increased confidence and the recent concerns of inflation and supply chain problems not hurting the buying demands of shoppers just yet, investors look ready to take on a bit more investment risk.

Economic reports from last week came back mostly negative: •Small Business Optimism - worse than expectation •Job Openings - worse than expectation •Jobless Claims - better than expectation •Manufacturing (New York) - worse than expectation •Retail Sales - better than expectation •Consumer Sentiment - worse than expectation This week, investors will look for guidance from economic reports like Homebuilder Sentiment, Home Sales, Manufacturing and Jobless Claims.
