Investors are trying to accept the idea that Covid-19 hot spots will start popping up on a more frequent basis. Overall, U.S. states are continuing to re-open but some, like California, Florida, New Jersey and Texas, have either reimposed restrictions or paused re-opening plans. After last weeks poor stock market performance, today began the week with a surge - daily deaths attributed to Covid-19 have fallen to new lows, Pending Home Sales had its largest-ever monthly increase and Texas Manufacturing numbers showed a strong acceleration in activity, easily beating its expectations for the month.
