The quarterly earnings season has officially begun. This week, companies like Netflix, Apple and Tesla will share their sales, expenses and income numbers, amongst other financials, from the most recent quarter. As investors and analysts expect a positive earnings season - in addition to more stimulus and a better overall health situation - the stock market continues to rise.
Last week, economic reports came back mostly positive:
•Housing Index - worse than expectation
•Jobless Claims - in-line with expectation
•Manufacturing (Philadelphia) - better than expectation
•Existing Home Sales - better than expectation
This week, investors will look for guidance from reports like Housing, Consumer Confidence & Sentiment and Jobless Claims - to name a few.
