Last week showed us that stocks don't only go up, falling for the first time in 4 weeks. Rising jobless claims, fear of another tech-bubble and increased China/U.S. tensions might be telling us that volatility and uncertainty are not going away anytime soon. After last weeks sell-off, Monday was a good day for financial markets. Corporate earnings are beating analyst estimates, the hopes of more stimulus and the additional funding of vaccine research by the U.S. Government all made for a positive start to the week.
World Stock Markets are still above their short-term (21-day), medium-term (50-day) and long-term trends (200-day) - a sign of a strength.
