The Strength of the Market is: Strong

Last week, stocks mostly rose as investors hope that falling inflation is ahead - the S&P 500 was higher by 1.62% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 3.31%, its fifth-straight winning week. Meanwhile, the Dow was the outlier, being down 0.15%.

Economic reports from last week came back mixed: •Consumer Confidence - lower than expectation •Construction Spending - lower than expectation •Vehicle Sales - higher than expectation •Private Employment - lower than expectation •Total Employment - higher than expectation •Job Openings - higher than expectation •Labor Productivity - higher than expectation •Jobless Claims - lower than expectation This week, investors will look for guidance from economic reports like Consumer Credit, Consumer Sentiment and Jobless Claims.
